Bio:
Architect ‘U. de Chile’, MDI ‘U. P. Madrid’,’Spanglish Party’ Founder. 2003-2007 Worked as an architect in Chile. 2008-2009 lived and worked in many jobs in different areas in New Zealand and Australia. 2009 Founded "Spanglish Party" language exchange and community in Santiago, Chile. 2009-2011 Worked as an architect in Chile. 2011 Kundalini Yoga teacher training. 2012 Participated in the "Startup Chile" seed accelerator. 2014 lived in the United Kingdom for 5 months. 2015 Full stack developer Ruby on Rails Course. 2017 to date, Kabibo International Internships Manager, Springfield, Missouri USA. In charge of internships in Santiago Chile for students from USA. I lived and worked in 3 English-speaking countries and traveled around 20 countries, on 4 continents (which is very rare for a Chilean person) I started from scratch many times, with many challenges, different projects, life paths and countries, which gives me a very broad worldview that I apply to projects. In 2009 I came back from living overseas (2 years in New Zealnd and Australia) and I started working in an architecture office, but one day in 2011, I realized "Spanglish Party" (my hobby at that time) was the perfect job I was looking for, my passion and my creation. In these 10 years through Spanglish P., I have helped hundreds of Chileans and foreigners losing their fears and speak English/Spanish fluently, welcoming foreigners and creating a multicultural community. My work is something unique and innovative, since I’m the only person in Chile who has a company like that, therefore it is very challenging, since there is no precedent, to have examples of what to do (There are similar but not equal things). So many people said I would not succeed, but thanks to my mental training I was able to persist in my project even though at first it was not so profitable. I believe that agility is part of my life now, because I trained my mind for uncertainty, to be motivated and always give my best. I discovered that the mind normally wants to be safe, comfortable and afraid of the unknown. I want to teach some techniques so as not to fall into frustration and demotivation generated by the unexpected. Nowadays I’m a very happy, empowered, motivated and successful entrepreneur, very curious, I’m always doing new projects of different kinds, but the story of my life was not easy and I want to give a talk that explains how I went from depression and Insecurity to the light today.
