Long synopsis (optional):
Why is it not expected that Scrum Masters/Agile Coaches pair? How do you pair when there’s only one of you in a team? To avoid stagnation and deterioration of skills we often find pair programming and working together aids both personal development and organisation learning. This results in better outcomes for our customers, teams and organisations. Why don’t Scrum Masters and Coaches follow the pattern we so readily advocate for others? What are the borders and psychological constraints that inhibit us from doing this? What are the outcomes when we follow our own advice and work together as Scrum Masters without Boarders? This talk is about the restrictions and outcomes that are possible when we remove these artificial restrictions. - What are the things that stop us from working together? - What can we do to enable scrum masters to work together? - What outcomes does this result in? We aren’t truly unleashing the power of agility if we can dog food our own advice, see what our experience has been by working without borders. This is a talk and short workshop to explore and remove the scrum master boarders, what constraint’s we face, how we have worked together.
