Title:
Voice. The most Human of User Interfaces and How to Design and Develop with it. More importantly, what does this new revolution mean?
Short synopsis:
Chatbots and Voice UI will overtake Apps in spending by 2020 according to Gartner. 40% of households will have smart speakers at the end of 2018. From TVs to Microwaves will have Voice Interface integrated into at point of sale. Everyone and I mean everyone will be able to use this who can speak and hear from children to the old. Children will grow up talking to a technology that abides their every command. Forms will disappear as we communicate data with the use of our voice or by messenger bots. What are the ethics? What does it mean for developers and UI designers? I now employ linguists and creative writers. I am looking for actors and philosophers. What are the skills that will be needed for this technology? So many questions, I hope to give just a few of the most important answers.
