Talk description
Title:
7 ways you are NOT doing Scrum (and should you care?!)
Short synopsis:
Let's rip the new Scrum guide to shreds. Let's take the clauses that are more controversial, and show that you are NOT doing Scrum. And then let's see that an incomplete Scrum implementation is better than none, as long as you're deliberately progressing towards a healthier practice of LeSS or Scrum.

Long synopsis (optional):
The Scrum Guide ends with: "Scrum’s roles, events, artifacts, and rules are immutable and although implementing only parts of Scrum is possible, the result is not Scrum". So if you're not following the guide to the letter - you are not practicing Scrum. In the first part of the talk I will check with participants 7 of the tougher parts of the guide - are you really doing it right? For example, self organization, single PO and single backlog, sound Definition of Done, Sprint Goal, etc. In the second part I will walkthrough how Scrum and LeSS as frameworks help practitioners of incomplete Scrum be better at it. Note: 7 is not a final number. It may change based on empirical measure of how long the talk runs.
