Talk description
Title:
More impact, less drama - navigating yourself and others through change
Short synopsis:
Transparency, focus and adaptability are characteristics of modern product development. Achieving these characteristics may require hard work and a variety of changes that go along with just as many questions: Where to begin, and why? Would it be appropriate to introduce Scrum or would the practices of Kanban fit better, or would a mix of both be adequate? What purpose should each change serve and how can it be tested for its effect? If such questions are neglected, the spectrum of symptoms can range from simply wasting time to provoking open conflict. This talk pursues the same degree of transparency, focus and adaptability in change as in product development. It illustrates a simple way to visualise change so that its strategic orientation becomes explicit, communicable and flexible.
