Long synopsis (optional):
In Software development we know, that we need to understand the basics and the background of a technology to solve a particular problem successfully. If things do not work as expected, we start to dig deeper to find the reason for the failure. As Agile has become extremely popular over all industries discussions show that there is a wide range of experiences from extremely good to very bad experiences people made with Agile. Blaming Agile as "It didn't work!" up to not even realizing that things are going in the wrong direction are far away from the Dig-deeper-into-the-Problem approach. For having the chance to use the full potential of Agile we need to understand the background of agile and learn more about mental models, biases, habits, big assumptions, emotions and human behavior. This talk is also about how teamwork in combination with agile methods fosters our productivity in alignment with our humanity. And it is also about what can go wrong and how constant self-reflection and openness to feedback can avoid trouble.
