Chris Davey is a Barefoot trained Personal & Executive Coach, Agile Coach and Scrum Master. Alternately if you ignore the confusing monikers he's someone invested in supporting people to achieve meaningful outcomes with other people. Thus realising their own intrinsic value and finding meaning in what they do. Chris has enjoyed challenging constraints and working to make things better in many of the UKs most trusted brands such as The AA, RHS, giffgaff. These experiences along with other successes and failures have allowed great insight into some of the major gotchas of being jobbing an Agile Coach. Because people are the solution to all problems he has invested in becoming an accredited personal and professional coach. Allowing people to gain insights into their values and beliefs be they limiting or expansive. Chris has a long list of certification letters that follow his name around like some lost puppies. Ranging from the respected to the ridiculous ( Barefoot Accredited Coach, ICF Member, ICP-ACC, CSM, PSM, PSPO, SAFe SA, TKP, PRINCE 2, 50m swimming badge). However the wealth of experience and eagerness to be of value seems to be worth more than the paper certificates. Recently Chris has been giving back to the community by founding and hosting a local Agile Meet-up group as well as blogging on Medium, LinkedIn and other sites. He is approved to run code clubs for children, is setting up tech coffee-breaks for the elderly and in his spare time fixes cars and writes computer games.
