Talk description
Title:
Did A3 paper save my clients airline?
Short synopsis:
Case study based on my experience working as agile coach on a $m prototype for a one of the biggest airlines in the world. Had the enormous task of aligning 120 people from different companies across the globe who had descended to a hanger sized office in a country most had never visited. The program wasn't just technical, it covered all areas of the airline business so a systems thinking approach was needed. Although we used more formal and structured frameworks – to different degrees of success, it was the humble piece of A3 paper that saved the day ...honestly.

Long synopsis (optional):
My talk covers the use of A3 canvases and how used correctly can other massive benefits to agile programs, regardless of size. I talk about Lean Agile practises and how I implemented them to achieve success where other practises just didn't work for us. Lots of focus on Hypothesises canvases, #A3, clean language and visibility of knowledge work - practically how we implemented these and more importantly how we greatly reduced learning feedback loops down to days from weeks. ***doing this talk at a few agile user groups over the next few months so will be refined and polished - also can tweak my synopsis to fit word counts if needed***
