Drawing on his experience extensive working in a Travel Software industry and their journey from a waterfall software product company to a modern Agile SaaS company drawing on the concepts of Agile and the Best practice of ITIL.

In this this talk the speaker will show how to meld the best practices of Service Management with the concepts of Agile to deliver the necessary control and reporting that a company needs to demonstrate to Clients & investors while promoting innovation and creativity. ITIL is a Service Management Framework which where it was necessary to merge the requirements of 24/7 IT Services. ITIL forms the basis of ISO20000 a certification used by large blue-chip clients, governments and their suppliers to demonstrate effective process and service management. John will also discuss how this concept can help teams demonstrate good Corporate Governance and financial control. John will use examples from his extensive experience delivering IT services to the fast-paced online Travel industry where it is essential to be agile in delivery whilst demonstrating stability and control to investors.
