This talk takes a systems thinking approach to recruitment that moves beyond the job specification, interview, and traditional employee lifecycle. It explores what constitutes the recruitment “system”, and how a community approach helps. It and shares practical ideas and concepts to improve the various stages of recruitment. Based on this foundation we look at what you can do to improve your chances of finding, and keeping, the right kind of people and why, actually, it might not be so bad if you can’t.
