Talk description
Title:
Adoption, adaption and beyond.
Short synopsis:
Scrum has certainly made its mark over the last twenty two years since its formal inception in 1995 and is the most adopted agile delivery framework in the world. Strangely for a method that promotes “inspect and adapt” as its core principal, the framework itself has not really adapted at all in that time. Is the singular role of Product Owner still the best way to consistently engage with the Business? Must iterations always be less than 1 month? Is the role of a Scrum Master really needed and where should analysts and project managers fit in? This session elaborates the journey that scrum has undertaken over the last decade, compares its progress with related methods and debates future directions for Agile project delivery going forward.
